Itinerary

    • You will be picked up from your hotel in Pokhara early in the morning around 5:00 AM, depending on the time of the sunrise. The drive to Sarangkot will take about 30 minutes.

    • Sarangkot is one of the best spots to view the sunrise in Pokhara, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Annapurna, Machapuchare (Fishtail), and Dhaulagiri.

      • Sunrise Views: From the hilltop, you’ll enjoy the golden glow of the sunrise hitting the snow-capped peaks. This is one of the most iconic views in Nepal.
      • Photography Opportunity: The sunrise over the mountains and the reflection on Phewa Lake makes for amazing photo opportunities.

    • Local Breakfast: After sunrise, you will enjoy a traditional Nepali breakfast at a local café or restaurant in Sarangkot, which often includes items like dal bhat, momo, or pancakes.

    • Start the Hike: After breakfast, begin your hike to the World Peace Stupa. The hike from Sarangkot to the stupa is a moderate walk and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours

    • You’ll be dropped back at your hotel in Pokhara, where you can rest or enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
